Apricot Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. water (not too full)
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple and juice
    1 (3 oz.) pkg. apricot Jell-O
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. Philadelphia cream cheese (room temperature)
    1 c. Cool Whip
Preparation
    Bring first 3 ingredients to boil until sugar melts.
    Add Jell-O and cream cheese.
    Stir until cheese dissolves.
    Let set until firm, then whisk with electric beater and fold in Cool Whip.
