Spanish Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 slices bacon
    1 c. chopped onion
    1/4 green pepper
    2 cans tomato soup
    1 bay leaf
    1/4 c. water
    1/2 c. uncooked rice
Preparation
    Cook bacon until crisp; remove from pan when through and break into bits.
    Add onion and pepper to bacon drippings left in the pan; cook until soft.
    Add bacon bits and remaining ingredients. Cook slowly for 30 minutes.
    Stir occasionally.
    Remove bay leaf.
