Hash Brown Potato Casserole - cooking recipe

10 3/4 oz. can cream of chicken soup
8 oz. carton sour cream
1/2 c. butter or margarine
1/2 c. chopped onion
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. pepper
2 lb. pkg. frozen hash brown potatoes, thawed
2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
Preparation

Combine first 6 ingredients in large bowl.
Mix well, then stir in potatoes.
Spoon into greased 9 x 13-inch baking dish. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 40 minutes.
Sprinkle with cheese and bake 5 more minutes.
Makes 8 to 10 servings.
