Pastry For Fried Pies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. plain flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1 c. shortening
    1 egg, beaten
    1 Tbsp. white vinegar
    1/2 c. cold water
Preparation
    Blend flour, salt and shortening until coarse as meal.
    Add egg, vinegar and water; mix well.
    Roll in ball.
    Refrigerate for a few hours.
    Roll out on floured surface.
    Cut in circles and fill with fruit of choice.
    Also good for making dumplings.
