Hash Brown Casserole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. chopped onion
1/2 c. chopped green pepper
1/2 c. chopped red pepper
1/4 tsp. each: salt and pepper
1 (32 oz.) frozen hash browns
1 Tbsp. melted butter or margarine
1 c. sour cream
1 (10 3/4 oz.) can cream of chicken soup
1 c. crushed corn flakes
2 c. shredded cheese
1/4 c. melted butter
Preparation

Grease a 9 x 13-inch baking dish.
In a bowl, combine cheese, soup, sour cream, onion, peppers, 1/4 cup butter, salt and pepper; mix up.
Fold in hash browns; turn into greased casserole.
Toss together corn flakes and 1 tablespoon of melted butter; sprinkle this over the potato mixture.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour until casserole is golden brown and potatoes are tender.
Serves about 6 or 8.
