U.S.M.C. Creamed Beef On Toast - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 1/2 lb. extra lean hamburger
2 Tbsp. butter
1 c. chopped onion
3 Tbsp. flour
2 tsp. garlic powder
4 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
2 c. milk
4 Tbsp. soy sauce
salt and pepper to taste

Preparation

Brown meat.
Add butter and stir.
Add onion and cook until done.
Add flour and cook 3 minutes.
Add garlic, soy sauce and Worcestershire sauce.
Mix well.
Add milk.
Stir until thickened. Salt and pepper to taste.
Serve on toasted bread slices.
