Strawberry Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1/8 tsp. salt
    2 c. water
    1 (3 oz.) box strawberry jello
    2 Tbsp. cold water
    1/4 c. cornstarch
    strawberries
Preparation
    Bake one pie crust.
    Bring to a boil, sugar, salt and water. Stir in the jello, cornstarch and cold water in hot mixture until it thickens.
    Cool.
    Pour some of the mixture in the bottom pie shell and then place the strawberries.
    Add remainder.
    Top with Cool Whip.
