Liquid Hop (Jug) Yeast - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. hops
    1 gal. water
    1/2 pt. malt flour
    1/2 lb. brown sugar
Preparation
    Boil hops in water until strong.
    Strain in malt flour and rub through a coarse cloth.
    Boil 10 minutes.
    Cool slightly.
    Stir in brown sugar.
    Place in jug in warm room \"to work the cork bottles tight.\"
    Keep cold.
