Plum Jam - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 1/2 c. plums
    7 1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 (6 oz.) bottle liquid fruit pectin
Preparation
    Wash plums.
    Crush and measure.
    Combine plums and sugar in large pan; bring to a boil.
    Remove from heat.
    Add pectin at once.
    Skim off foam.
    Stir jam for about 5 minutes.
    Pour into glasses and seal at once.
    Makes 8 pint glasses.
