Salmon Cakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can pink salmon, drained
    1 c. mashed potatoes
    1 egg, beaten
    2 slices bread, cut up
    2 Tbsp. chopped green pepper
    1/4 tsp. salt
    dash of pepper
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients together and form into cakes.
    Fry in shortening.
