Pickled Peaches - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pt. cooked peach halves
    3/4 c. brown sugar, firmly packed
    1/2 c. vinegar
    2 (3-inch) sticks cinnamon
    1 tsp. whole cloves
    1 tsp. allspice
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients except peaches and boil 5 minutes.
    Add peach halves and simmer for another 5 minutes.
    Chill in syrup several hours or overnight.
    Quick and easy and delicious with meats or on a party plate.
