Pepper Relish - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 big pods hot peppers
    24 large green bell peppers
    3 lb. onions
    1 qt. vinegar
    3 c. sugar
    3 Tbsp. salt
    3 Tbsp. mustard seeds
    water
Preparation
    Remove seeds from peppers.
    Grind peppers and onions.
    Add boiling water until covered and let stand 5 minutes.
    Drain.
    Mix 1 pint vinegar and 2 pints water.
    Pour over peppers and onions; let come to a boil.
    Let stand 10 minutes.
    Drain.
    Mix 1 pint vinegar, salt, sugar and mustard seed.
    Add to mixture.
    Boil 2 minutes.
    Pour in jars and seal.
