Hearty Hash - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. cooked roast beef, chopped
    2 c. cooked potatoes, chopped
    2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. black pepper
    1 tsp. paprika
    1 c. evaporated milk
    1 c. chopped onions
    3 Tbsp. butter
    3 Tbsp. cooking oil
Preparation
    Saute onions in butter and oil.
    Add remaining ingredients
    to onions
    with
    roast
    beef
    first; potatoes on top of roast. Cover
    mixture
    with
    milk.
    Cover and simmer about 30 minutes. Do not stir.
    Garnish with cheese if desired.
