Beef And Broccoli Oriental(Recipe Served At Club Meetings) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. lean beef, cut into bite-sized cubes
    1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen broccoli
    1/4 c. Tamaric (low-salt soy sauce, available in Oriental grocery stores)
    1/2 c. water
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    2 Tbsp. oil
Preparation
    In a 10-inch frypan, brown beef cubes in oil.
    Add water and simmer about 1/2 hour, covered.
    Mix cornstarch with Tamaric and add to beef, increasing heat and cooking until sauce thickens.
    Add more water, if necessary.
    Cut broccoli into bite-sized pieces and add to beef.
    Cover and simmer over low heat until broccoli is tender and bright green.
    Do not overcook broccoli.
    Serve immediately.
