Mile High Strawberry Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (10 oz.) frozen strawberries
    1 Tbsp. lemon juice
    1 c. sugar
    2 egg whites
    1/3 tsp. salt
    1 c. heavy whipping cream
    1 tsp. vanilla
    10-inch pie shell, baked
Preparation
    Place defrosted berries, sugar, lemon juice, egg whites and salt in large bowl.
    Beat at medium speed 15 minutes until mixture is stiff and holds shape.
    Whip cream, add vanilla and fold into berry mixture.
    Pile lightly into baked shell.
    Freeze overnight. May be garnished with fresh berries just before serving.
