Baked Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. stewing beef
    1 c. cut up carrots
    2 large potatoes (or more if desired), peeled and cut up
    1 can peas or 2 c. frozen peas
    1 can tomato soup (clean can out with water and add to stew)
    2 onions, cut up
    1 tsp. salt
    dash of pepper
    1/2 c. water
Preparation
    Mix together.
    Put in roaster or Dutch oven with tight lid. Bake at 275\u00b0 for 5 or 6 hours.
    Don't brown the meat.
    Don't look at the stew until done.
