Dumplings - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/3 c. sifted plain flour
    1 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1 egg
    1/2 c. milk
Preparation
    Sift flour with baking powder
    and
    salt.
    Beat
    egg and add milk.
    Combine mixtures and roll out on floured surface and let dry 2 to 3 hours.
    Break
    in
    small
    pieces
    and
    drop in 2 quarts of boiling broth and do not cover but simmer 45 minutes.
