Best Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. butter
    3 c. sugar
    6 large eggs
    2 tsp. vanilla
    3 c. Swans Down cake flour
    1/2 pt. whipping cream
Preparation
    Cream the
    butter
    and\tsugar well.
    Add eggs, one at a time, and
    beat well. Add flour and cream alternately, a small amount at a time.
    Bake 1 hour and 20 minutes at 325\u00b0.
