Apricot Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 oz. Cool Whip
    8 oz. cream cheese
    1 (3 oz.) jar apricot baby food
    8 oz. crushed pineapple
    1/4 c. sugar
    chopped pecans
    1 small box orange Jell-O
Preparation
    Combine pineapple and Jell-O in a saucepan over low heat until Jell-O dissolves.
    Remove from heat.
    Add sugar, baby food and cream cheese.
    Stir, but do not beat.
    Chill until slightly thickened.
    Fold in Cool Whip.
    Spoon into an 8-inch pan.
    Sprinkle with nuts.
    Chill until firm.
