Swedish Rye Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 qt. warm water
    2 Tbsp. dry yeast
    5 c. unbleached flour
    2 tsp. salt
    1/4 c. brown sugar
    1/2 c. molasses
    2 c. water
    1 1/2 tsp. fennel seed
    1 tsp. anise seed
    1 tsp. caraway seed
    3 Tbsp. Crisco
    2 tsp. orange rind
Preparation
    Mix the first 4 ingredients well.
    Set aside.
    Heat the brown sugar, molasses, water, seeds, Crisco and rind to boiling.
    Pour over 5 cups rye flour.
    When lukewarm, mix two mixtures together well and add unbleached flour until at the kneading stage.
    Knead well.
    Let rise and form into 5 large or 8 smaller loaves.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
