Everlasting Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. sugar
    2 1/4 c. warm water
    1 pkg. yeast
    2 Tbsp. shortening
    1 tsp. salt
    flour
Preparation
    Dissolve 1/4 cup sugar in 1/4 cup warm water.
    Sprinkle 1 package yeast in this mixture.
    In another bowl, mix 2 tablespoons shortening, 1/2 cup sugar, 1 teaspoon salt and 2 cups warm water. Add yeast mixture to this and add enough plain flour to make a stiff dough.
    Turn out on floured surface.
    Knead well.
    Place in greased bowl, let rise overnight or until it rises good.
