Gracie Burgess' Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. Crisco
    1 stick butter or margarine
    3 c. sugar
    6 eggs
    3 c. all-purpose flour (sift at least 2 times)
    1 c. sweet milk
    1 Tbsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. butter flavoring
    dash of salt (1/8 tsp.)
Preparation
    Have butter and eggs at room temperature.
    Cream butter, shortening and sugar.
    Sift dry ingredients together.
    Add dry ingredients and milk alternately, about 1/2 at a time, beating constantly.
    Add eggs, one at a time.
    Add flavoring.
    Bake in tube pan at 325\u00b0 about 1 1/2 hours or until done.
