Diane'S Apple Crisp - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. tart apples
    3/4 c. packed brown sugar
    1/2 c. all-purpose (unbleached) flour
    1/2 c. oats
    1/3 c. margarine/butter, softened
    3/4 tsp. cinnamon
    3/4 tsp. nutmeg
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Heat oven to 375\u00b0.
    Arrange apples in greased square pan, 8 x 8 x 2-inches.
    Mix remaining ingredients; sprinkle over apples.
    Bake until topping is golden brown.
    Apples will be tender.
    Approximate baking time is 30 minutes.
    Serve warm with cream or your favorite ice cream.
    Makes 6 servings, 295 calories per serving.
