Marinated Shrimp - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/4 c. Wesson oil
    3/4 c. white vinegar
    2 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. celery seed
    1 bottle capers with juice
    dash of Tabasco
    7 to 8 bay leaves
    1/2 c. granulated sugar (optional)
    3 to 4 thinly sliced medium onions
    1 large jar button mushrooms
    2 jars artichoke hearts
    4 lb. cooked, peeled shrimp
Preparation
    Bring to a boil the first 7 ingredients and sugar if desired. Cool and remove bay leaves.
    Add onions, mushrooms and artichoke hearts.
    Combine all; add shrimp.
    Marinate for 24 hours, longer is better, turning or stirring several times.
