French Fried Onion Rings - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 to 4 onions
    1 egg yolk, slightly beaten
    1/2 c. milk
    1/2 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. melted Crisco
Preparation
    Clean onions, cut into 1/4-inch slices and separate rings. Combine slightly beaten egg yolk and mix in flour, salt and one teaspoon melted Crisco until smooth.
    Dip onion rings in batter. Fry in 3/4-inch Crisco, heated to 365\u00b0, in a skillet.
    Cook until lightly brown.
    Drain on paper towels.
    Serve hot.
