Rinschler'S Special Soap - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 lb. fat, clarified (no bacon fat)
    1 can lye
    1 qt. water
    almond oil
    1/2 c. ammonia
    3 Tbsp. Borax
Preparation
    Clarify fat by cooking up in water and let harden.
    Scrape off dirt from the bottom.
    Do this until clean.
    Bring water to a boil.
    Dissolve Borax in water; add almond oil and lye and let cool, then add ammonia.
    Heat fat hot; add to cold lye mixture. Stir well.
