Special Bran Muffins(Low Calorie) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 medium carrots, grated
2 medium bananas, mashed
1 egg, beaten
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 1/4 c. wheat bran cereal
1 c. flour
2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. soda
1/4 c. raisins
3 Tbsp. oil
Preparation

Put grated carrots in large bowl.
Add mashed bananas and beaten egg.
Add sugar and bran.
Let stand 3 minutes.
In small bowl, mix dry ingredients and then add to bran mixture.
Add raisins and fold in oil.
Bake in nonstick muffin pan at 350\u00b0 for 25 minutes.
Makes 16 muffins.
One muffin equals 124 calories or 1 bread, 1 fruit and 1/2 fat exchanges.
