Chili Con Queso(Dip) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. chopped onion
    1 to 2 Tbsp. olive oil or margarine
    1 (16 oz.) can stewed tomatoes
    1 (4 oz.) can whole green chilies, chopped
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, cubed
    chili powder and pepper to taste
Preparation
    In medium saucepan, cook onion in oil until soft.
    Add tomatoes and chiles.
    Cook 20 minutes over medium heat.
    Lower heat and blend in cream cheese.
    Add spices to suit your taste.
    Mix well. Heat through and serve warm with Sam Choice tortilla chips.
    This reheats well in microwave.
