Swedish Meatballs - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. ground beef
1 egg, beaten
2 Tbsp. margarine
bacon fat
1/2 c. dry bread crumbs
2 c. beef broth
2 Tbsp. flour
salt and pepper
Preparation

Combine ground beef, bread crumbs, egg, salt, pepper and nutmeg.
Make into small balls.
Cover; refrigerate at least 2 hours.
Brown meatballs in bacon fat.
Remove meatballs.
Melt margarine in pan, then add flour.
Stir until well blended; add broth gradually, stirring constantly.
Bring to a boil.
Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Add meatballs and cover.
Simmer for 3 hours on low heat.
Stir occasionally to prevent sticking. Serves 5 to 6.
