Red Velvet Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/4 c. cake flour, sifted 5 times
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. butter (no substitution)
    1/3 c. Crisco oil
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. buttermilk
    2 oz. red food coloring
    2 Tbsp. cocoa
    1 tsp. soda
Preparation
    Cream butter, sugar and eggs.
    Add oil and vanilla.
    Make a paste of cocoa, red coloring and salt.
    Add to creamed mixture. Slowly add flour alternately with buttermilk; mix well.
    Mix soda and vinegar; blend into batter.
    Bake in layers for 25 minutes at 350\u00b0.
    Grease and flour pans.
    Frost with Cream Icing.
