Strawberry Preserves - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 qt. strawberries, capped
4 c. sugar
Preparation

Boil strawberries and 2 cups sugar 5 minutes; remove from heat.
Add 2 more cups of sugar; boil 10 minutes.
Pour into an open pan and let stand 2 days or more; berries will get thick. Can cold.
