Pickled Okra - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 clove garlic per pt.
    1 pod hot pepper per pt.
    1 tsp. dill seed per pt.
    1 qt. vinegar
    1 c. water
    1/2 c. salt
    small, tender okra
Preparation
    Place garlic and pepper in bottom of hot jars.
    Wash okra thoroughly and pierce several times with fork.
    Place firmly in jars.
    Add dill seed.
    Bring vinegar, salt and water to boil. Simmer for 5 minutes.
    Pour over okra and seal jars.
    Makes about 6 pints.
    Ready in 8 weeks.
