Banana Punch - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large (46 oz.) can pineapple juice
    1 (12 oz.) can frozen orange juice, diluted as directed on can
    6 c. water
    4 c. sugar
    juice of 2 lemons or bottled juice
    5 bananas, blended
    3 qt. ginger ale (added later)
Preparation
    Heat water and sugar until sugar is dissolved.
    Mix other ingredients with sugar water; cool and freeze.
    Set out 3 hours before serving time.
    Put in punch bowl and pour the ginger ale over it.
    Serves 50.
