Ingredients

2 whole eggs
1/2 tsp. vanilla
3 3/4 c. self-rising flour
1 c. sugar
1 c. less 1 Tbsp. milk
1 3/4 tsp. nutmeg
3/4 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation

Put eggs into a mixing bowl and beat very light.
Beat in sugar gradually.
Add milk and vanilla; mix thoroughly.
Add spices to flour.
Add flour to first mixture and beat until smooth.
Add flour and mix well.
