Greek Easter Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter or margarine
    1/3 c. granulated sugar
    2 egg yolks
    1/2 tsp. brandy flavoring (if desired)
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    confectioners sugar
Preparation
    Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Mix the butter or margarine, sugar, egg yolks, brandy and vanilla together thoroughly.
    Measure flour by sifting.
    Blend flour and baking powder.
    Stir into butter mixture; mix well.
    Shape dough in small balls about 3/4-inch in diameter. Place cookies on a lightly greased baking sheet.
    Bake 10 to 12 minutes or until cookies are set, but not browned.
    Let stand 2 minutes before removing from cookie sheet.
    When cool, dust with confectioners sugar and place a whole clove in center of each cookie.
    Makes 8 dozen.
