Chicken Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. cubed, cooked chicken
    2 c. diced celery
    1/2 c. chopped, toasted almonds
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. grated onion
    2 Tbsp. lemon juice (fresh, frozen or canned)
    1 c. mayonnaise
    1 can water chestnuts, sliced
    1 large firm yellow Delicious apple, diced
    1 small jar pimentos
    1 c. grated cheese
    1 c. crushed potato chips
Preparation
    Cook chicken and celery until tender in water.
    Combine ingredients, except the cheese and potato chips.
    Place in casserole and bake in very hot oven (450\u00b0) for 10 minutes.
    Place grated cheese on top of casserole and return to oven for 2 to 3 minutes.
    Place potato chips on top of hot casserole after taking out of oven, so chips won't get too brown.
    This keeps well in the freezer.
    Delicious.
