Fresh Strawberry Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. water
    4 Tbsp. cornstarch
    5 Tbsp. strawberry jello
    1 c. sliced strawberries
    Cool Whip
Preparation
    Mix everything together, except jello and Cool Whip.
    Cook, stirring, until thick.
    Remove from heat.
    Make jello and add 5 tablespoons to the mixture.
    Let cool.
    Then fill baked pie shell with sliced strawberries.
    Pour filling over them.
    Chill and cover with Cool Whip.
