Aunt Ruth'S Dumplings - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. plain flour
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. solid Crisco (rounded up)
    1 egg
    3/4 c. broth
    1/4 c. milk
    black pepper
    1 chicken
Preparation
    Cook chicken (have water covering it while cooking).
    Add Crisco to 3/4 cup hot broth.
    Mix with flour, a little at a time, and add egg.
    It will take more flour to get dough dry.
