Chicken Veggie Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. cooked chicken, cubed
    2 cans cream of mushroom soup
    1 can sliced water chestnuts, drained
    1 can mushrooms and pieces, drained
    1 pkg. California vegetables (broccoli, carrots, cauliflower)
    1 Tbsp. chopped onion
    2 c. grated Cheddar cheese
    1/3 c. slivered almonds
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients except cheese and almonds.
    Bake in 9 x 13-inch pan covered for 1 hour at 350\u00b0.
    Top with grated cheese and almonds.
    Allow cheese to melt before serving.
