Butterscotch Syrup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. packed brown sugar
    1/2 c. light corn syrup
    1/4 c. butter or margarine
    2/3 c. light cream
Preparation
    Combine brown sugar, corn syrup and butter in saucepan.
    Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, to soft ball stage (234\u00b0).
    Cool 5 minutes and blend in cream.
    Serve hot or cold. Makes about 2 cups.
