Caramel Squares - cooking recipe
Ingredients

14 oz. bag caramels
2/3 c. evaporated milk, divided in half
1 German chocolate cake mix
3/4 c. butter or margarine, softened
1 c. chopped pecans
6 to 8 oz. chocolate chips
Preparation

Combine caramels with 1/2 evaporated milk. Melt in microwave or double boiler. Combine cake mix with the other 1/2 evaporated milk and butter. Stir in nuts. Press 1/2 of the mixture in greased 9 x 13 pan. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 6 minutes. Sprinkle with chocolate chips and drizzle with caramel. Crumble remaining cake mixture on top and bake at 350\u00b0 for 15 minutes.
