Penne A La Margaret! - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 pkg. penne pasta
2 c. broccoli florets
2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
2 Tbsp. olive oil
5 cloves garlic, minced
1 can mushrooms, sliced
2 c. cherry tomatoes, sliced in half
1 onion, sliced
1/2 c. marinated red peppers, cut in strips
1/4 c. Parmesan cheese
salt and pepper to taste
Preparation

Boil water for pasta.
Meanwhile in skillet, heat butter and oil.
Saute onion and garlic.
Add peppers and mushrooms and heat through.
When pasta is almost cooked add the tomatoes and broccoli to mixture in skillet (steam broccoli beforehand, if you prefer them more tender).
Pour mixture over pasta.
Season.
Add cheese if preferred.
