French Love Cakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter, softened
    1/4 c. granulated sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 c. all-purpose flour
    1 c. finely chopped toasted pecans
    1/2 c. sifted powdered sugar
Preparation
    Beat butter, sugar, vanilla and salt with mixer until fluffy. Stir in flour and pecans until combined.
    Shape into 1/4-inch balls; flatten slightly with bottom of glass dipped in granulated sugar.
