Granny Vennie'S Corn Bread Dressing - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. herb dressing (Pepperidge Farm)
    1 small pan corn bread (I use an old pie tin plate)
    approximately 1 c. bread crumbs (old biscuits are good to use)
    1/2 c. celery (more or less to taste)
    1 large onion, chopped
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1 tsp. poultry seasoning
    dash of salt
    chicken or turkey broth to make soupy (mixture must be soupy for best dressing)
    4 eggs, slightly beaten
    1 c. half and half
    1 stick margarine
    dash of garlic salt
Preparation
    Saute onion and celery in butter in bottom of casserole.
    Mix with other ingredients and bake until slightly brown.
    Do not let dressing get dry!
