Angel Biscuits - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. lukewarm water
1 pkg. dry yeast
3/4 c. Crisco
2 c. buttermilk
2 tsp. sugar
1 tsp. soda
5 c. flour (self-rising)
Preparation

Mix water, yeast, sugar and Crisco in a separate bowl; to separate bowl, add soda and buttermilk.
Then add this to water mixture.
Add flour and beat well.
Refrigerate, tightly covered, for 2 hours.
Use as needed.
(Do not knead dough.)
Can be used up to 1 week.
