Brownies From Scratch - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2/3 c. shortening
    1/2 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    1 c. self-rising flour
    1/2 c. cocoa
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Cream shortening, sugar and eggs.
    Add flour and mix well. Stir in vanilla and nuts.
    Spread in greased 8-inch square pan. Bake at 375\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes.
    This can easily be doubled if you're having a huge \"brownie attack!\"
