Aunt Ruth'S Toffee - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. white sugar
1 c. butter
2 c. chopped pecans
1 (8 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips

Preparation

Cook sugar and butter to hard crack stage.
Pour over pecans on a cookie sheet with sides.
Pour chocolate chips on top while still hot.
Spread chocolate over the top with a spatula.
