Marinara Sauce - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/4 c. olive oil
2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
4 c. canned Italian plum tomatoes, coarsely chopped
1 Tbsp. freshly chopped parsley
1 tsp. dried basil
1/2 tsp. freshly ground pepper or to taste
2 c. finely chopped onion
1 large carrot, grated-chopped
1 tsp. dried oregano
1/2 tsp. salt and pepper
Preparation

Heat oil in a large skillet and saute the onion, garlic and carrot over medium heat until soft and golden brown.
Add tomatoes, parsley, oregano, basil, salt and pepper.
Partially cover, reduce heat and simmer 10 minutes.
