Pecan Fingers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. shortening
    1 1/2 c. flour
    3/4 c. confectioners sugar
    2 eggs
    1 c. brown sugar (packed)
    2 Tbsp. flour
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Cream shortening and sugar.
    Blend in flour.
    Press evenly in bottom of ungreased baking pan 13 x 9 x 2-inch.
    Bake in 350\u00b0 oven 12 to 15 minutes.
    Mix remaining ingredients; spread over hot baked layer and bake 20 minutes longer.
    Cool, cut into bars 3 x 1-inch long.
