Strawberry Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple
    2 (3 oz.) pkg. strawberry jello
    2 c. buttermilk
    1 (8 oz.) carton Cool Whip
    1 c. chopped nuts
    1/2 c. water
Preparation
    Heat in a 2 1/2-quart saucepan, pineapple and 1/2 cup water until it boils.
    Add jello and stir until dissolved.
    Let set on stove until cool.
    When cool, add 2 cups buttermilk and stir well. Let set in refrigerator until thick.
    Then fold in Cool Whip and cup of nuts.
    Pour in 9 x 13-inch dish.
    Gel.
